9:21 Mile! PR by 10 seconds!

So all you runners out there, how do you monitor your fitness improvements?  I am running my fastest mile test each week to see where I am at and to test my brain to see if I can push it.  It seems to be working! 

Are you on daily mile?  It's really cool!

i dont do a weekly assessment. i might have really early on...hard to remember now. i was never one to really want to go faster for 1 mile, but was always about going further. now that i know that i can go a really really long way :o), yeah i started focusing on speed.

however i gauge mine season to season. example: in teh Spring it will be my goal to PR at every distance race which consist of 5K, 10K, 4 miler and the half marathon.

to gauge for marathon, obviously marathon to marathon...i just hope to PR. :O)

I was on daily mile, until I got a very uncool stalker. :( Might think about getting back to it soon now that it has been some time.

I use a log for my swims, bikes and runs.
