Learned a bad lesson today - never just upload your photos from your memory card to flickr and then delete the card. I lost all the pics of Oscar and his first piece of celery exploration.
Side note - visit to the opthamalogist looks like I am pretty stable from my results from 1.5 years ago - so that is wonderful news! Stable is good baby!

Here's a shot I found from this summer - part of the group that I took last September.
So I have funny pictures of Oscar Puppy trying his first bite of celery, the camera is downstairs and pictures are still stuck in it. Good one for tomorrow!
With feeling better and my UI claim has gone through so I am feeling more calm with a clearer head. My morning is spent getting Max off to school, then heading downstairs to my office to search for jobs and contracts. Those are few and far between, but a job application on line can often take 1-2 hours to complete by the time you get done with the cover letter and entering in everything from my resume. The rest of the day I am learning new photoshop cool techniques for my klsCreative business. I posted one of those from yesterday. Did some more cool stuff today, but again, it's all on the downstairs computer!

Well, plenty has been happening in my life in the last 3 months and a lot of it quite frankly has just BIT THE BIG ONE! Some stuff just too plain painful to go into here. Least of which is this stupid cold I have had for 2 weeks straight..cough cough cough...I vowed that as soon as I got even a little bit healthy I would try to get my life back on an even keel. So here goes...daily blogging for a week - commit to a week and see how I do.
I am un-employed and self-employed until I get hired by someone or make enough money to fully be considered self-employed - whichever comes first! One of my focuses during this time is to get fully trained in the Adobe products. I took a class today from Kelby Training -Eddie Tapp where I learned a technique called Bust Out. As I am writing this, that just seems spectacularily appropriate for how I feel right now!
Here is my practice.

He likes to copy the Moxie Kitty and sit up on the cushions on the couch. I used my tripod and backed far away from him, using my portrait setting and zooming in gives this blured out effect. We are still saying alot of "NO bite!" He's still such a little guy, it's just when he's excited. He can sit, lay down and stay (for about 3 heart beats and then he trundles on over for his treat.) He's a pretty good addition to our family!
